Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas, a Hyatt Resort

We had breakfast at the coffee shop downstairs a week before staying. The staff and valet were so nice and welcoming that we decided to book a night and have a relaxing staycation. The staff was really accommodating and even let us check in early. We arrived early to just ride our bicycles up the 101 and were not expecting to check in early. It was greatly appreciated as my wife felt safer leaving all her things locked away. Although we were reassured, lockers were available, and our things would be stored safely. From arriving to leaving, the staff made sure to make us feel good. Our room was upgraded, and I also got to take some great graduation pictures in my cap and gown around the property. We had dinner at the Vaga and tried some wine recommendations. The food was very flavorful and fulfilling. We finished the night off with a complimentary Chocolate Bombe, which was amazing. We will definitely be visiting again when my family visits in May to show off this tucked away, peaceful gem.

Nice place. Odd location and layout a little strange and dark. Rooms were nice. Vaga was great.

Beautiful, comfortable and very clean rooms. Amazing location on the beach. Great pool and restaurants. The staff were fantastic. Loads of little extras included like chairs and umbrellas for the beach, shuttle to downtown etc

Wonderful property, very clean, comfortable and beautifully designed! The restaurants were all delicious. Rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were so comfortable!

Spectacular views! Excellent breakfast and cold pressed juices. Great drinks at the pool and friendly staff. Loved the free eBikes and instructions provided to use along with suggested scenic routes.
